Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Liles Vision Clinic – Mena the leading provider of vision care products and services in Mena.

C. Wallace Liles, Jr., OD, PA

Dr. Liles began private practice Optometry in League City, Texas in 1975 and remained for 9 years. In 1984, he moved his family to Mena and opened Liles Vision Clinic in the Northside Shopping Center. In 1987 he opened a satellite office in DeQueen Arkansas, then in 1994 he opened the Waldron office. He is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr Liles has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Houston. He is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and Arkansas Optometric Association. He was Diagnostic Drug Certified in 1984, and Therapeutic Drug Certified in 1987. He is licensed as an Optometric Physician, diagnosing and treating many eye diseases and eye health problems. He is very interested in general eye care and contact lenses. He is especially interested in diagnosing and treating eye diseases and problems. He is a participant in the Vision USA program since 1992, has been a lecturer for Paraoptometric Association classes in the Southwest Association in Dallas and Arkansas Association. He has participated in various county health fairs, Senior citizens free screenings, free children’s screenings, and has presented many lectures in public schools regarding eye health and safety. Locally he has been a member of the Rich Mountain Community College Board of Trustees (1986-92) in Mena, and was President from 1988 to 1990. Dr. Liles is a musician, and he serves as pianist, organist and Minister of Music in many churches throughout the years.
